SizesOur standard card sizes are listed below:38mm x 38mm 38mm x 50mm 38mm x 63mm 38mm x 76mm 50mm x 50mm 50mm x 76mm 63mm x 76mm 76mm x 76mm 76mm x 101mm 101mm x 150mm NOTE: When deciding on the size for your custom temporary tattoo card, please allow 3mm on each side of the card. We don't print in this area to avoid slicing through any part of the design when the cutters divide the paper. So your temporary tattoo design will be slightly smaller than the actual tattoo card. Please keep this in mind when deciding on a size. For Example: Tattoo SafetyAll of our custom printed temporary tattoos use FDA certified colourants. The most comprehensive independent lab testing in the industry has been conducted on all of the inks including eye irritation, skin irritation, oral toxicity, heavy metals, flammability, small parts and use & abuse tests. Please note that some individuals can develop allergic skin reactions, even when using medical grade glue.Printing MethodAll of our custom temporary tattoos are printed using an off-set printer. Compared to other printing methods, offset printing is best suited for cost-effectively producing high quality temporary tattoos.Artwork FormatsWe can work with any type of digital file you have available! If you are not sure if the file you have is sufficient for printing, email it to us and we will check it out, at no charge to you.If possible, we prefer files to be CMYK. Vector and .ai files need to have the fonts outlined or sent in with the art and .jpg, .tiff, and files to be at least 300ppi at the size you want printed. We do accept PDF files as well. In general, .giff files and images taken straight from a website are too poor in quality and resolution to make a nice temporary tattoo, but we will work with you to ensure you get the best quality printed tattoo possible! For any questions please send an email to sales@temporarytattoosaustralia.com.au for assistance. We do not take responsibility for colour changes, when the artwork is sent using RGB colouring formatting. * Please see the terms defined below: CYMK: Cyan, magenta, yellow, and key (black). Colour formatting used is most colour printers, including commercial printers. RGB: Red, Green, Blue. Colour formatting used for output to computer display screens. EPS: Encapsulated PostScript. The PostScript format and language is a trademark of Adobe Systems Inc (tm). TIFF: Tagged Image File Format. A graphic file format for PC and Macintosh. It is compatible with most image-editing software. PPI: Pixels per inch. ColoursAll temporary tattoos are printed using as many colours as you want. An optional white ink can be added at no additional cost. See 'White Effect Options' below.ProofsProofs are samples of copy and layout produced and sent via email to you. Once your artwork has been approved for printing, we can organise payment. 4) Make your purchase online through our website (We will send you a specialised link for your quote). Once artwork is approved and payment has been made, your order will be posted in 4 weeks (or 3 weeks for rush service). Please allow extra time for postage on top of this. For delivery times, please click here. White Effect OptionsWe offer 3 white effect options (free of charge). If you want a white effect for your custom temporary tattoo, then white ink must be printed. Please specify Flood White, Spot White or No White for your design.Flood White:White covers the entire image (not the background) and once transferred looks more brilliant in color because the layer of white makes the image more opaque. On tattoo paper the image will appear 'milky'.Spot White:White ink is only printed in specific parts of the design. For example, eyes will actually look white when transferred, but no white will be behind the design. No White:The design area is transparent (the white tattoo paper backing is visible) but will transfer clear on the skin and be skin tone. |
